Last night in the pitch black darkness on a steep dirt road in Uvita, Costa Rica (a place I’ve never been that I arrived to in the dark) my car got stuck and I had a little mental breakdown and burst into tears. I was thinking, “Why am I here alone on a weird road in the Jungle by myself? Was my intuition wrong to go to this place? What am I doing?”
All of a sudden a car pulls up behind me, a man gets out and asks me if I need help.
I tell him I’m stuck and he gets my car out with ease.
I hug him and then walk into the Jolly Roger still crying. The bartender sees me, asks me what’s wrong and completely wholeheartedly listens to me with all his heart. I immediately feel at ease. I look over at the kitchen door and see two familiar stickers. One is of Live the Life You Love and the other (have you seen him) is my friend from Burlington Johnny Pagoda!
The bartender remembers Brenden from Hooked Productions (Live the Life You Love) and where he sat and then the owner came up to me and said, “I remember them. Do you like Ryan Montbleau because I love him.”
I exclaim, “Yes! He’s my soul brother, I’m seeing him play here, at Jungle Jam and we’re doing a retreat together next week.”
Even if in the moment it looks different than you thought it would, when you follow your intuition you will always be at the right place at the right time surrounded by all the right people.
