What the heck is money anyway? One day someone found gold and decided it was more valuable than the other rocks and stones. Throughout the history of the world currency has come in many different forms such as shells, cattle, camels, salt, Parmigiano cheese, tea bricks, squirrel pelts, rings, knives, sacks of cereal grains and beads. What money actually is, is an exchange of energy.
You work, you receive money and you then spend and invest that money.
You put energy in, you receive energy and you then circulate and invest that energy.
Imagine what it would feel like if for the rest of your life you chose to circulate your money/energy with integrity and love? Before making a purchase or investment, you paused for a moment and asked yourself, “Is this purchase coming from a place of love and integrity?”
If the answer was no and you decided not to put your energy there wouldn’t that feel empowering?
If the answer was yes, wouldn’t it feel empowering to put your energy into investing in food or a product or a person you believe in and want to support?
And if someone really wanted to invest in you , or give you a gift and you said yes to receiving the investment or gift wouldn’t it feel empowering to accept it? Hell yes to all of that!
Another way to circulate your money with integrity and love is to make paying your bills an enjoyable ceremonial task. You can accomplish this by lighting some candles, pouring yourself a glass of wine or cup of tea and put on some fantastic bill paying music. After you complete payment for each bill, express gratitude for the service you received like electricity, water, schooling etc. When you pay your bills this way, it doesn’t feel like you are throwing money out the window. You are becoming aware of all the amazing things your money has gotten you.
Right now you may or may not have a ton of money/energy in your bank account. It’s cool either way. Do what you can. Start small. The more your circulate your money/energy with integrity and love, the more the universe wants you to have and the more will flow in your direction.
The awesome in me sees and bows to the awesome in you.
