I recently watched an awesome video online. The video was the family’s Christmas card where they shared all of their accomplishments of the past year while dancing and singing in their Christmas pajamas. Here’s the video.
After watching the video I started to read the reactions from people and came across this one. This is only one of many comments from this gentleman.
This man is obviously triggered by this family. His reaction actually has nothing to do with this family and how awesome they are, how they accomplished so much and seem to be living the dream all while having a lot of fun. It has everything to do with him feeling that he is a sad loser living his sad little life and because he doesn’t have the things this family has. Since he’s not grateful for what he has in his life it means they deserve to be hated on because they are grateful for the good fortune in their lives…and 166 people agreed with him.
The fact is no one is better than anyone else. We’re all in this thing called life together.
Why not celebrate each other’s accomplishments instead of being victims who are pissed because they don’t have what other people have?
Why not be grateful for all that we have in our lives right here right now instead of focusing on what we don’t have like the man did? If you can feel gratitude even in the tiniest way it allows you to be present and happy. Otherwise you are always going to be wanting more and more.
Let’s take a moment to send this man some love.
The family from the video shared with us they are very proud of their lives right here right now by showing us their new Prius, how awesome their kids are and that the wife got a part in a major movie.

I began work on a body of work all centered around the word LOVE. Every piece of art making the whole body is the word LOVE in different mediums and titles. It is my hope that when people see the show or the pieces individually they will fill their “space” with love simply reading and witnessing the word.
“Unconditional Love” was accepted into the first juried show I entered it into. It is the word LOVE spelled out in my last set of dreadlocks on untreated wood slabs!
“Grace” an acrylic sculpture 3 years in the making was also accepted into a juried show where it shattered to the ground during the opening reception. From that I made a new friend and learned a lot about grace and shatteredness!
My beautiful daughter Prudence turned two and has decided her middle name should be Manimal! She is truly and amazing little girl.
My dreamy son Mason turned 6. Today he lost his first tooth. He has kicked some major butt in soccer and school. He steps closer and closer into his own as he balances the strong male influence of life and the little spiritual warrior within. He told me he has to use the soft energy inside him to heal and be a true warrior!
