10 years ago I waited with anticipation wondering what stunt my favorite band Phish was going to pull off right before the clock struck twelve.
Trey placed a tea kettle on the stage that was going off with gusto. Steam started rising from the floor, a whole bunch of instruments started levitating, a person carrying a “Steam” sign got caught in the levitating display, and then aerialists started floating up and down in the crowd.
It was a magical night and that’s why I chose to dance to STEAM today. I wish there was a tea kettle where I’m staying because I would have incorporated it into the dance. Maybe you can!
