He was stumbling around unable to formulate words before vomiting everywhere and then choosing the sidewalk as a suitable bed for the evening. Since you’ve been practicing your conscious partying habits, you roll your eyes at him and say to your friend, “I would never get THAT drunk.”
The errors in that thought are a plenty as they’re filled with a whole lot of judgements and assumptions.
He could be someone who never drinks and was going through a hard time and got carried away.
Maybe he was having a medical situation that caused him to appear intoxicated.
There’s the possibility that he forgot to eat, was in the sun all day and the alcohol reacted differently than it normally does.
Or he has a drinking problem and this type of thing happens to him all the time.
I have no idea, but what I do know is that if I find you in this state, I don’t care how or why it happened, I’m going to help you. There’s no guarantee that I’ll never be in his shoes again and goddess knows I’ve been that drunk before. I can relate and am so grateful for all of the people who’ve helped me.
If you go to parties or festivals, you’re likely to come across those who aren’t conscious party animals who’ve indulged too much on everything. Help them and be grateful that you consciously partied and have the ability to do so.
Taking care of each other is one of the most important aspects of being a conscious party animal. If you fall down, I’ve got you.

The party animal in me sees and bows to the party animal in you (consciously of course).
