When Phish broke up after the disaster that was Coventry in 2004, it hit me really hard. I loved them so much. Going to shows felt like a family reunion and it was officially over…or so I thought. Flash forward to 2009 when Phish announced they were going to play the famous Hampton Colosseum March 6, 7 and 8th I knew I had to be there. I had to be one of the lucky ones who got to experience the anticipation of the lights going down and the band playing their first notes.
Obviously everyone and their mothers wanted to be in that room too.
I am a huge believer of the law of attraction and manifesting miracles. My husband at that time was not a believer. I told him if we get all three nights of the Hampton run with ease and grace then you will have to now believe in the power of positive thought.
He agreed so every day we visualized ourselves there with tickets in our hands that we paid face value for. We felt what it would feel like in ever cell of our bodies. We knew it to be true even though we didn’t know how it was going to happen and we decided that if it didn’t happen that would be ok and we would be happy for everyone who got tickets.
We put in for the lottery and guess what?!?! We got all three nights which was very rare.
My husband is now a huge believer! #magicisnormal and I’m so grateful.
