When I have conversations with people about joining Rock Your Life Mentorship (my 6 month virtual coaching program for live music fans) some of them are really afraid to invest the money into themselves because they think they’ve never done it before and/or don’t see the value in doing so.
The truth is as music fans we are constantly investing time, energy and money into ourselves by purchasing tickets to shows and festivals, buying downloads of the epic shows we’ve attended, booking hotel rooms for multi-night runs, purchasing plane tickets to see our favorite bands in faraway lands etc.
We choose to invest in that way because we are putting our energy into something that we love that makes us feel really good. Shows are the places where we feel free to be our freaky selves and where we blow off steam and let loose while getting lost in a jam. Going to a really great show can keep us going in our daily lives for awhile until our batteries empty abruptly when we get a dose of “reality” if our “reality” isn’t in alignment with who we truly are.
If you added up all the money you’ve spent on live music experiences you would see that you are already a master in investing in yourself. If you look back you may have also noticed that even when you didn’t think you had the money for that NYE run five years ago, you somehow made it happen and the money appeared some how. It always does when you REALLY want to do something.
What if you could feel a little bit of that awesome feeling you feel at a really great show on a daily basis? What if you took off the mask of who you think you’re supposed to be and just started being you in all your magical glory? If you can feel amazing at a festival you can feel amazing anywhere. The festival lives within you and when you start to take baby steps towards rocking your life, life starts to feel like one big festival.
And that’s what happens and more to people who take the leap and join Rock Your Life Mentorship.
