I was in a funk. My husband asked me how he can support me to go from in a funk to funky. I didn’t know so he said to me, “This is something your unicorns can help you with.”
My unicorns in case you didn’t know are my coaches. Within minutes they uncovered that I was feeling guilty because my life was going so well and that all the things I’ve been working on are coming to fruition. I was scared and I felt really bad for everyone who is struggling to find their way so I was sabotaging myself by shutting down and doing nothing.
Once I realized what was up and that the best way to support anyone who is struggling to find there way is to be an example of what is possible I leapt off the couch and got funky.
Here are some other ways to go from in a funk to funky:
- Put on your favorite song and dance your ass off
- Go for a walk
- Phone a friend
- Write about it
- Lie on your back outside and look at the sky and the clouds
- Hug someone
- Punch a pillow
- Put on your favorite outfit
