Receive My Love

I’m feeling fresh, relaxed, energized, joyous, motivated and full of love. Those feelings are what was cultivated not only for me, but all the attendees at the retreat I hosted with Ryan Montbleau this weekend  called Rock Your Life Retreat. (It was such an epic event that the next one is happening May 2014) Want to experience some visuals of what was experienced? To close the retreat I had everyone sit in the “Warm Fuzzy Hug Chair” and what happened was unexpected and pure magic. When you’re butt is sitting in the “Warm Fuzzy Hug Chair” you receive words of love from everyone in attendance. Each person shared something with you and all you have to do is sit and receive it. It’s more difficult than it sounds. Receiving words of love and appreciation are some of the most amazing gifts in the world if you open your heart to receive them. During the exercise I noticed a many things I would like to share with you. So I’m gonna…

• It feels awesome to tell someone why you think they’re awesome and why you appreciate them.
• Giving felt natural for everyone. It was the easy part.
• Give compliments more often. It’s one of the easiest gifts you can give.
• It feels awesome to receive love, but for almost everyone receiving was harding than giving.
• Receive compliments with an open heart and don’t resist them.
• It’s selfish not  to receive when someone is giving you a gift from their heart. It feels so good for the person who is giving when they pay you a compliment, pick up the lunch tab, get you a glass of wine or give you a million dollars (I am open to receive any of these gifts). Everyone involved wins when you receive with open arms.
• When you receive love from 12 people in a row you’ll get hot and sweaty from all the love.
• When you give from your heart, you can’t go wrong.
• We don’t receive as much as we deserve. I saw this so clearly with the group at the retreat. Open yourself to receive and watch the miracles and abundance easily flow to you.
